Hello everyone! I’m Daniel O’Sullivan — a new host of the QBIN podcast. In this first interview of mine, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mickael Tanter (INSERM, Paris), whose pioneering work in employing ultrasonic technologies for bio-imaging and therapeutics made him well-deserving of being this year’s Feindel lecturer for the QBIN Scientific Day. We spoke for almost an hour, discussing not only his work, but his philosophies as a researcher and his interests outside of the lab. I hope you enjoy.

Hi! I'm Daniel and I'm a master's student at McGill, co-supervised by Christine Tardif and Nathan Spreng. My work studies the effects of loneliness and social network structure on white matter and healthy aging. I love socializing, the great outdoors, reading and writing philosophy, weightlifting, art of all forms, and a life of expedition.
